Born & Raised Heirloom Portrait
The Classic Heirloom Portrait is a timeless vignette individual portrait of your child that your family will treasure forever.
The Classic Heirloom Portrait Session includes a complimentary wardrobe selection. We have curated our collection to coordinate with siblings in any age progression. Our wardrobe ranges from 6 months to 12 years.

OUR PROCESS
Reserve
- Submit an inquiry for an appointment at our home studio or book a session from our travel schedule
- Complete the questionnaire in preparation for your session
- Review our wardrobe options and order catalog
Session
- Upon arrival at our studio or travel session host's home, you'll be greeted by our photographer, Anna Claire.
- Together, we will review wardrobe options and have your child/children get changed. You are welcome to wear our wardrobe or bring your own clothing options.
- We take over from here, gently and expertly directing your child to ensure we capture a variety of facial expressions and angles for your review.
Selection
- We will schedule a proofing consultation in studio to review your proofs together and create a collection of products to showcase your portraits within your budget.
- If you are not local, we will schedule a video consultation to review and place your order.
Artwork
- Prints and Frames are purchased during your consultation.
- We look forward to personalizing a product package that is just right for you!
- We are currently updating our online print store but you will receive a catalog at the time of your session with product information.

Milestone Sitting Fee
(3 sessions)
Exclusively available in our Auburn, Alabama home studio. Includes 3 sittings within two years. We recommend 6-12-18 months.
Collections begin at $1500 and are required prior to a la carte purchases
$500 per family, which is fully applied toward your final purchase
$400 per child
Travel sessions may include a travel fee

Frequently asked questions
What does the sitting fee include?
The sitting fee includes digital images, a $100 product credit, the photographer's time and talent, complimentary wardrobe options & personal ordering consultation.
What age range is best for heirloom portraits?
This is a loaded question but don't worry, we have the answer. While it's true any age is a good age because your children are perfect and wonderful, there are certain quintessential milestones we recommend. Read our philosophy on portrait timing recommendations. (Blog post coming soon!)
My child is really difficult when it comes to taking photos.
We have never given up on a session and will do everything we can to get the best portrait of your child. We build time into your session specifically for your child to warm up and move past that nervous energy.
Most children typically aren't excited to take pictures, however we've found that the best way to prepare is not to make a big deal about picture day, then allow us to take care of the rest.
How long does a session take?
For in studio sessions we allot 1 hour per family however the whole process generally takes under 30 minutes!
For our travel sessions and events, we allot 20-30 minutes per session, depending on the session type booked. Please be on time as we are on a tight schedule. There is time built into your session for selecting an outfit and getting dressed.
What type of shoes should my child wear?
Whatever makes them comfortable!
For heirloom portraits, they will not be in the shot.
What is your cancellation Policy?
The session fee is refundable up to 14 days prior to the session.
Within 14 days of the session, the fee is non-refundable, but is transferable.
We understand children get sick and family emergencies happen. We ask our clients to contact us immediately, and our team will work with you to schedule a new date and/or time slot for your session.
